PRO STREET RUBBER-MOUNT FRAMES

We believe in Harley-Davidson V-Twins as the only engine for a motorcycle. They have just one negative point. The construction from this nice engine causes trills! Especially on long, fast rides they make you tired and you don't have any feeling in your hands after some time. For that reason the HD factory start the production from rubber-mount models in 1980. This construction was introduced on the famous FLT and FXR models. The last (limited) production from the FXR was in 1999. The FLT models are still manufactured. This rubber-mount construction is very strong and dependable. With the introduction from the Dyna Glide models the factory changed to a much cheaper construction on the lighter sport models. This construction is not only cheaper, but also weaker and less stable. On the heavy touring models, like the Road King, HD use still the strong construction that was introduced in 1980.

Because we believe in comfortable en real good handling motorcycles, we use in all our frames this strong construction. All our Pro Street frames has mounting points that's fit the original OEM rubber mount parts from the FLT and FXR models (including the swing-arm). If you want a dependable and comfortable good handling bike there just one way to go: Pro Street rubber-mount frames!

Pro Street frames are manufactured from seamless precision tubing and MIG weld. Stock frames have 36 degrees rake. On special demand every rake or stretch is possible.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PRO STREET FXR STYLE FRAME

This frame can be used with any Panhead, Shovelhead, Evolution and Twincam engines (including strokers) in combination with the FXR or FLT 5-speed primary and transmission with final chain or belt drive. Steering head has 36 degrees rake which provides a perfect handling and look and allows stock forks. This leaves the custom builder over a dozen options to create any model V-twin, Nostalgic, Classic or Cafe-racer with the comfort of today's rubber mounted engine/transmission unit. Mounts for forward controls and FL/FX style side stand are welded in place. Frame will accept most stock and aftermarket Harley front forks.
Frame will take the original equipment FXR or FLT swingarm if shock mounts are modified with Pro Street shock mount brackets (Pro-10070). Our special wide swingarm (PRO-10060) allows you to use extra wide (up-to 200) rear tires but must be used in conjunction with our off-set motor mount kit (PRO-11110). Frame takes stock or after-market Softail oiltanks, special mounting brackets for use with are available.

NOTE:
Pro Street frames are approved by the German TUV as a replacement frame for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, engine capacity may not exceed 1740 cc, power may not exceed 110 horsepower. They may be used in combination with out TUV approved rear swingarms.

PRO STREET FLH DEEP SEAT FRAME

This Big Twin frame is based on our PRO-10000 rubber-mount frame and restyled for the deep-seat look. This frame can be used with any Panhead, Shovelhead, Evolution Twincam engine (including strokers) in combination with the 1993 and later FLH 5-speed transmission with the build-in oil tank with final chain or belt drive. Mounts for forward controls and FL/FX style jiffystand are welded in place. Frame has 36 degrees rake for super handling on the road. On request every rake is available.
Frame will take the original equipment swing-arm if shock mounts are modified with Pro Street shock mount brackets (PRO-10070). Our special wide swing-arm (PRO-10060) allows you to use extra wide (up-to 200) rear tires but must be used in conjunction with our off-set motor mount kit (PRO-11110).
On special order we can build every rake in the steering head.
